Overlanders and Racers! RockJock heard you and the wait is over! Their heavy bar Antirock Sway Bar Kit for the front of all Jeep JL Wrangler and JT Gladiator models features a 1 in. diameter bar! This heavier bar considerably increases the rate of the front sway bar for those with racks, roof top tents, camping gear, etc. This heavy bar kit is also applicable to desert racing applications. This kit easily bolts on with hand tools and is designed to directly replace the vehicle's stock front sway bar. The bar is made of 4130 heat treated chromoly for ultimate strength, which is the same quality used in professional off-road competition sway bars. The Antirock front sway bar, when used in conjunction with a rear Antirock sway bar, provides a more stable feeling cabin and balanced performance of front and rear suspension in rugged off-road conditions. Antirocks gives the driver increased traction by balancing and distributing the weight and traction over all four tires. This kit includes all components for installation including, the sway bar, forged chromoly arms, bushings, hardware, and step-by-step instructions. The fabricated steel sway bar mounting brackets bolt into the factory sway bar mounting holes under the front frame rails and the sway bar links attach to the stock mounts on the differential housing. The RockJock Antirock sway bar does not need to be disconnected for off-road use. CAUTION: Jeeps will have more body roll than stock. This sway bar may be used on the street however, it will not provide the same performance as the stock sway bar. This kit is based off of a JT with aftermarket bumpers 37 in. tires, 37 in. spare and no other additional weight added, overlanding equipment, etc.
RockJock by John Currie's roots run deep as jeeping has been a love of the Currie family for decades. In his off-roading adventures, John pushed the limits of his vehicles coming to the realization of the shortcomings of the equipment. Thus it became John's goal to design and build the best-performing, strongest, most durable products on the market. A Jeep suspension upgrade product line was first developed in the 1980s based around Jeep CJ and YJ vehicles. Fast forward to 1998 and John's off-road passion evolved into rock crawling competitions. In 2001, John Currie took home the 1st place trophy in the Extreme Rock Crawling Championship Series, in a RockJock equipped Jeep TJ Wrangler. This was the first of many victories for John and various RockJock equipped vehicles in numerous rock crawling, Ultra 4 and desert racing championships! RockJock continues to progress and innovate as new platforms of vehicles are introduced. From the JK Wrangler, the JL Wrangler and JT Gladiator, John Currie personally continues to design, build, test, sell, and install the finest, cutting-edge, high-end suspension, steering and towing components available.
