- Currectlync Heavy Duty Steering System
RockJocks Currectlync(R) modular extreme duty steering system for right hand drive 2007-2018 Jeep JK Wranglers features 1 5/8 in. diameter 4130 chrome moly heat treated steel tubing tie rod and drag link tubes, 1 1/4 in. thread forged steel greasable tie rod ends, as well as new steering stabilizer shock bracket and u-bolt kit. The massive tie rod ends thread into the tie rod end body so that they may 1) be replaced without replacing the whole rod end saving cost, 2) the same threaded in tie rod end is used at all 4 points so only one spare would have to be carried, and 3) they may be unscrewed from the rod end bodies and screwed in from the other side if a flipped tie rod and/or drag link was desired. Tie rod and drag link tubes feature wrench flats machined onto them and jam nuts for ease of adjustment. This unit is a direct replacement for the stock parts. No modifications or machining to any part of the vehicle are necessary, and best of all, its made in the U.S.A.! NOTES: Flipping the tie rod or drag link would require retapering the tie rod end holes from the top side of the knuckle. Rod end taper is 1.5 in. per foot.
RockJock by John Currie's roots run deep as jeeping has been a love of the Currie family for decades. In his off-roading adventures, John pushed the limits of his vehicles coming to the realization of the shortcomings of the equipment. Thus it became John's goal to design and build the best-performing, strongest, most durable products on the market. A Jeep suspension upgrade product line was first developed in the 1980s based around Jeep CJ and YJ vehicles. Fast forward to 1998 and John's off-road passion evolved into rock crawling competitions. In 2001, John Currie took home the 1st place trophy in the Extreme Rock Crawling Championship Series, in a RockJock equipped Jeep TJ Wrangler. This was the first of many victories for John and various RockJock equipped vehicles in numerous rock crawling, Ultra 4 and desert racing championships! RockJock continues to progress and innovate as new platforms of vehicles are introduced. From the JK Wrangler, the JL Wrangler and JT Gladiator, John Currie personally continues to design, build, test, sell, and install the finest, cutting-edge, high-end suspension, steering and towing components available.
