The Porsche 981 platform which replaced the 987 Boxster and Cayman still features a DFI 2.7L or 3.4L engine. However there are big performance gains to be had in the exhaust system. A normally aspirated engine does not want to lose alot of backpressure as this will affect low end torque. With the right combination of exhaust flow and backpressure, getting more horsepower and torque can be easily obtained. Not only that, your sports car will actually sound like it should! The all stainless steel headers feature precision TIG welding with a beautiful merge collector. The headers feature high flow catalytic converters. Because of the increased exhaust flow, these headers can trigger a check engine light. We recommend aftermarket ECU tuning to get rid of this CEL if it appears. With the addition of our Agency Power performance muffler, the Porsche 981 Boxster S gained 11whp and 24ft per lbs of torque.
